Manchester United were involved in late drama in the Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
United went into the game level on points with their rivals with only goal difference separating the two sides. Ruben Amorim 's side are unbeaten in their last four, while Spurs fell to a 1-0 defeat against rivals Chelsea in their last outing.
October Premier League player of the month, Bryan Mbeumo, gave United the lead in the 32nd minute when he headed in Amad's cross.
Senne Lammens stood up to the Tottenham pressure in the second half to make two saves to maintain United's lead. Brennan Johnson did find the back of the net, but celebrations were cut short by the assistant referee's flag.
United's resistance was broken with seven minutes of normal time left
