JAMMU, NOVEMBER 8: Deputy Commissioner Jammu Dr. Rakesh Minhas today chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of Rural Development Department works being executed under District Capex and flagship schemes – Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Grameen) and Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen).

Dr. Minhas conducted a block-wise review of ongoing rural development works and directed officers to ensure achievement of targets under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) and SBM(G). He also instructed to initiatie works promoting village sanitation and rural livelihood enhancement.
