Continental Aerospace Technologies executives privately clashed with Cirrus Aircraft officials following the company’s 2024 ransomware attack, according to newly obtained communications.
In the days following a malware attack that encrypted and exfiltrated large swaths of Continental’s digital infrastructure, Cirrus leaders pressed for specifics on the event, deployed their own IT team on-site and sought assurances Continental had “taken all appropriate security measures.”
