FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) gave Fayetteville Public Schools (FPS) an "A" based on overall performance for the 2024-2025 school year.
This is the first year the ADE issued district letter grades. According to a news release from FPS, district grades were developed in accordance with Arkansas ACCESS.
Sen. Jonathan Dismang, R-Searcy, compared ACCESS to the LEARNS Act in February. He said the two squarely focus on the students and prioritize their individual success.
“We are very pleased with the 'A' grade Fayetteville Public Schools received,” said Superintendent John Mulford. “It is a direct reflection of the hard work and determination of our teachers and students and the support of our families and community."
