Kirbyville Police Seek Information in Veterans Wall Vandalism

The Kirbyville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the person responsible for vandalizing the Kirbyville Veterans Wall.

The memorial lists the names of local men and women who served in the U.S. Armed Forces, along with their service branch and the year they were added to the wall. Police say someone recently used a blue paint marker to add the name “Bostick, Bobby L USMC” under the 2023 dedication.

Investigators learned that the man named had passed away in 2023 and was from the Livingston area. While the veteran was not from Kirbyville, his family confirmed he once dated a local woman.
