KINGSTON, N.Y. — The city will host a public Veterans Day ceremony, one of several planned for the holiday in the Mid-Hudson region.

The ceremony, set for 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, will take place at the Kingston American Legion Post No. 150 at 18 W. O’Reilly St., an announcement from Mayor Steve Noble’s office said.

In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will move inside to the council chambers at City Hall, 420 Broadway.

In Hurley, a ceremony is set for 11 a.m. at the town hall, 10 Wamsley Place. It is being organized by the town and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post Mp/ 5086. In Stone Ridge, the scouts of Boy Scout Troop No. 16, Pack No. 16, Sea Scout Ship No. 609, and Girl Scout Troop No. 60110 will be reading the names of local veterans and family members at 11 a.m. at Ston
