CHARLOTTE — The Panthers made a number of moves on Saturday, to add depth at a couple of positions ahead of Sunday's game against the Saints.

They signed defensive tackle Jared Harrison-Hunte from the practice squad to the active roster.

The undrafted rookie from SMU is now the 12th rookie on the active roster, and the seventh defensive lineman, along with starters Derrick Brown , A'Shawn Robinson , and Tershawn Wharton , along with Bobby Brown III , LaBryan Ray , and Cam Jackson .

To make room for him on the active roster, they waived veteran quarterback Mike White (after the trade deadline, veteran players are also subject to waivers). White was the emergency third quarterback last week in Green Bay, with Bryce coming off an ankle injury and Andy recovering from a thumb
