PLA NN ING TH E NE X T 2 4 HOURS: A rain/snow mix is going to gradually turn over to a light snow overnight Saturday as temperatures dip into the mid to upper 20s. Most accumulations will stay at or below 1", especially further north. Closer to the Illinois state-line, at least 1" of snow can be expected with isolated spots of 2". Temperatures remain cool on Sunday in the low to mid 30s. Winds are going to be breezy on Sunday, out of the northwest with gusts up to 25-35 miles per hour. Flurries will be possible throughout the day as well with minimal accumulations expected.
