The Tampa Bay Buccaneers received a boost prior to their matchup with the New England Patriots.
Tampa Bay activated fourth-year offensive lineman Luke Goedeke off injured reserve on Saturday, restoring him to the active roster just in time for the eagerly anticipated matchup scheduled for Sunday,
Goedeke hasn’t played since aggravating a foot injury in Week 2 against the Houston Texans.
The Buccaneers opened his practice window on Monday, listed him as a limited participant on Wednesday and Thursday and upgraded him to a full participant on Friday. Goedeke, 26, missed six games in total, but is expected to return to the lineup and help bring the offensive line to full strength for the first time this season.
