IOWA CITY, IOWA — No. 9 Oregon’s depleted receiving corps suffered another blow during Saturday’s game at No. 20 Iowa.
Gary Bryant Jr. went down with an apparent lower right leg injury after making a 22-yard catch with 7:04 to go in the first quarter.
Bryant did not put any weight on his right leg and was carried to the injury tent by walk-on tight end Kade Caton.
Bryant later emerged from the injury tent and walked on his own power back to Oregon’s locker room int he final minute of the first quarter.
Oregon (7-1, 4-1 Big Ten) is already without leading receiver Dakorien Moore due to a non-contact injury suffered during practice this week. Evan Stewart, Dillon Gresham and Jack Ressler have been out all season due to injuries.
