Pierce Brosnan has reportedly mended fences with his estranged son Christopher - two decades after disclosing he had "cut him off" for declining to address his substance abuse issues.

Photographs showed the James Bond legend, 72, and the 52 year old film-maker departing a fashionable eatery in Notting Hill, west London, together on Wednesday evening after a family dinner.

A witness said: "They both looked happy and relaxed while sitting down with one of Brosnan's other sons Dylan. Pierce and Christopher's problems have been well documented. But it seems they've managed to put them behind them. It was really nice to see them together."
