Flight operations at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport returned to normal today after a glitch impacted over 800 flights yesterday.

In a post on X, the airport authorities said, “All flight operations are normal at the Delhi airport. The passengers are advised to stay in touch with their respective airlines for flight updates. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation and the Ministry of Civil Aviation have sought a detailed report to determine the root cause of the failure.”

The impending threat to operations was flagged by a Parliamentary Standing Committee chaired by JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha in its report tabled in both Houses of Parliament on August 20.
