East Kentwood senior quarterback Kayd Coffman dictated the pace from start to finish with his right arm and his legs in the Michigan high school football Division 1 district final against Howell.

The verbal commit for Michigan State football went 16-for-22 for 372 yards and five touchdowns and ran it nine times for 96 yards in East Kentwood's 49-41 road win Saturday, Nov. 8. His talent was too much to overcome for Howell, made just one defensive stop all game – a missed 27-yard field goal from the Falcons.
