SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — Anthony Wayne swept Cincinnati Mount Notre Dame in three sets Saturday at Wittenberg University to advance to the Ohio High School Athletic Association Division II state championship match.

The Generals defeated the Cougars 26-24, 25-21, 25-23.

Mallory Pike paced the AW offense with 15 kills, adding 13 digs. Charley Gardner had 11 kills, and Leah Pike recorded 10 kills.

Anthony Wayne will play the winner of Saturday’s later match between Rocky River Magnificat and Avon at 3 p.m. Sunday at Wright State University’s Nutter Center for the state championship.
