WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - As the temperature drops, the holiday season is just around the corner, and the spirit has spread throughout the North Country.
The Sackets Harbor Ballroom held its annual Christmas Market Saturday. A total of 24 vendors were there selling all sorts of stuff. You could find pastries, art, crafts, jam, custom mugs, you name it.
Getting in wasn’t free but there was a reason for that admission fee, the market was also a fundraiser for United Way of Northern New York and Hospice of Jefferson County. It won’t actually benefit the ballroom financially, but we spoke with the ballroom’s owner Margaret Coe, who said she was happy to help the community.
