KENNEWICK, Wash. – A high-speed chase that began in West Richland late Friday night ended in a crash in Kennewick, according to information from Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Daniel Mosqueda.
The chase started near 240 and Van Giesen at 11:20 p.m. when a car was reported driving 65 mph in a 35 mph zone. The pursuit continued down I-182 into Pasco, crossed the Blue Bridge, and ultimately crashed near Panda Express on 395 and Clearwater at 11:31 p.m.
The suspect fled the scene on foot and has not been apprehended. The vehicle involved in the chase was not reported stolen and has been taken in for a search warrant.
