LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The record cold high on Sunday in Lincoln is 29 degrees set back in 1950. Although it does not look like we will hit that number, we expect to just climb past the freezing mark. Brrrr!

Let’s take a look at our highs. Low 30s to mid 40s are expected behind a powerful cold front that moved through Saturday.

If you think that’s cold, wait until Monday morning. Low to upper teens are forecast.

Feel like temperatures with just a light wind drop in the single digits!

Meanwhile, light rain remains possible Saturday evening with a few snowflakes mixing in perhaps into the overnight hours. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies are then likely Sunday and Monday.

Plenty of sunshine is then forecast for the rest of the week with no chance for precipitation until next Saturday
