LOS ANGELES — The Thursday, Nov. 6 episode of " Jimmy Kimmel Live " was postponed due to a "personal matter" with the host, reports say.

Deadline first reported the postponed episode, but had no additional information.

Madison Beer, who was slated to be the musical guest, wrote in a now expired post explaining to fans why she wouldn't be seen performing.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, Jimmy Kimmel Live needed to reschedule my performance that was originally set to air tonight to a later date," she wrote. "I’ll share more details on timing when I can, I can’t wait for you all to see it."

Thursday's episode was meant to feature "Stranger Things" star and musician Joe Keery and "Malice" and "The X Files" star David Duchovny before being postponed, according to People .
