OVI: Westwood Avenue

An officer stopped a vehicle at 3:23 a.m. Oct. 25 for a registration violation near W. 220 th Street.

The driver appeared intoxicated and was unable to complete field sobriety tests.

The 33-year-old Fairview Park man was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and taken to the Fairview Park Police Department, where he was given a mandatory court date and held until sober.

Disturbance: Center Ridge Road

An employee of the Savers thrift store called the police station at 12:45 p.m. Oct. 24 to report a man in the store was causing a disturbance.

An officer identified the suspect as a 59-year-old from Cuyahoga Heights, who had a warrant for his arrest out of Columbus.
