GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) - First Presbyterian Academy held its annual Veterans Day Program Friday, honoring veterans, active-duty service members, and military families with patriotic performances.
Highlights from the program included a live TAPS performance, "Timeline of War" presentation, and a Rosie the Riveter tribute that featured fifth grade students.
A 102-year-old veteran, who served in World War II, was also honored, along with local military families.
Students also created a “Wall of Honor” and prepared gifts for attending veterans, including challenge coins, yellow roses, and thank-you cards.
