Officials in Columbia Heights are searching for two suspects wanted in connection with a Friday home invasion that left one man injured.

According to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, police and EMS crews responded to a report of a home being broken into on the 1400 block of 47th Avenue Northeast in Columbia Heights at around 10:20 p.m.

A man told police he had been followed into the home by two other men, and an altercation ensued.

The victim sustained injuries during the incident, while the two suspects fled the scene.

The victim was hospitalized and is in stable condition, according to the sheriff’s office. No other occupants of the home were injured.

The incident is under investigation, and the suspects have not been found.
