Saint Francis continued its push to return to the NAIA national playoffs, dispatching Saint Francis (Ill.) Saturday, 42-24, in a MSFA Midwest League game at Joliet Memorial Stadium in Joliet, Ill.
“We played pretty well in all phases,” USF Cougars coach Adam Sherman said. “We had a couple of things that weren’t the best, but I thought we dominated. They took out their quarterback and started running Wildcat, so I don’t think we were as prepared as we could have been, but we shut it down pretty (well).”
