Tahlia Rowe staked third-seeded Cherokee to an early lead it would not relinquish and Abbie Zubrzycki had another big day in the Chiefs’ 5-0 win over sixth-seeded Kingsway in the NJSIAA South Jersey, Group 4 quarterfinals in Marlton.
Cherokee (15-5-1) reached the semifinals for the second time in three years and will face second-seeded Washington Township.
Zubrzycki scored her team-high 17th and 18th goals and added her 17th assist, which also leads the squad.
Paige Wagner and Ella Busch chipped in insurance goals and Riley Anderson stopped seven shots for the shutout.
Mackenzie Barry made seven saves for the Dragons (11-6-3).
