MIAMI GARDENS, F.L. (WSYR) -- Syracuse football drops its sixth-straight game, losing to #18 Miami on the road 38-10. After holding the Hurricanes scoreless in the first quarter, Miami was able to score with two minutes left in the second quarter to go up 7-0. Rickie Collins threw his first interception of the day that Miami brought back to the house, pushing the Canes ahead 14-0 at the break.
Syracuse got on the board off a 38-yard field goal from Tipp Woody in the third quarter. Miami scored 24 unanswered points until Joseph Filardi was able to connect with Elijah Washington-Baker in the final minute of the game to make it 38-10.
