Instead of folding, though, they pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in state soccer history.
Sophomore midfielder Lily Chiappetta banged home a rebound 1:30 into overtime for the game-winning goal to give South Fayette (20-2-1) a dramatic 4-3 come-from-behind victory against District 3 champion Cocalico (18-0-3) Saturday in the PIAA Class 3A quarterfinals at Greencastle-Antrim High School.
