LEHI — With Thanksgiving just 20 days away, North Point Elementary School’s PTA is working to ensure no family goes without a holiday meal. In partnership with Pioneer Market in Lehi, the school is assembling Thanksgiving gift baskets filled with all the traditional fixings.

Inside Pioneer Market, Store Manager Kiri Secretan is busy checking out groceries — turkey, stuffing, green beans and even Martinelli’s sparkling cider — all destined for families in need.

The effort is part of a larger community initiative led by PTA Needs Chair Karli Johnson, who said the rising cost of living and inflation have made it harder for some families to afford a holiday meal.
