Top-seeded Emerson Boro scored five second-half goals on its way to a 7-1 victory over eighth-seeded New Milford in the quarterfinal round of the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 1, Group 1 Tournament in Emerson.

Ryan Leone led the way with two goals and two assists for Emerson Boro (13-9-1).

Angel Ponce-Montes added a goal and three assists.

Emerson Boro has won four games in a row.

Goalie Brayden Blanken had four saves in net for Emerson Boro.

New Milford fell to 11-10-1.

Emerson Boro will play fourth-seeded North Warren in the semifinals on Tuesday.
