BELHAVEN, N.C. (WITN) - Operation Resolute, which supports North Carolina’s active duty military and their families, opened a new ministry location on Saturday, just in time for Veterans Day.
Operation Resolute has been creating outdoor ministry opportunities for active-duty service members and their families for over 13 years.
On Saturday, they opened their first 6,000 sq. foot river house outside of Belhaven.
“It’s an anchor point for a lot of these guys,” said Scott Britton, an Army chaplain. “There’s already so many chaplains and soldiers that are affected in a positive way by operation resolute. And now operation resolute has a headquarters. Which is important not only for the organization but for the guys that participate in this.”
