Even though the season may not have ultimately turned out the way fans wanted, the Mathis Pirates ended the 2025 season on a high note on Friday night.

The Pirates defeated Aransas Pass 48-35 on Nov. 7 to finish off their season.

Mathis finished the 2025 campaign with a 4-6 overall record, and a 3-4 record in district competition. They won three of their final four contests to finish off the season and end the year with momentum.
