AVOYELLES PARISH, La. (KALB) - A Moreauville man was killed in a crash that happened on Louisiana Highway 1 near Hamburg on November 8, according to Louisiana State Police .

LSP shared that around 3:50 a.m., a 2023 Kia K5 was driving north on HWY 1 and ended up crossing the centerlines and crashing head-on into a 2021 Chevrolet Spark.

As a result, Luke J. Terrell, 41, was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The driver of the Kia was only moderately injured and was taken to a hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
