The UFC Fight Night 264 main event ended with both fighters on their backs, but Gabriel Bonfim the victor.

Bonfim (19-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) cracked Randy Brown (20-7 MMA, 14-7 UFC) with a knee for a knockout stoppage at the 1:20 mark of Round 2 of their five-round welterweight headliner Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Brown protested referee Mark Smith's stoppage immediately, but replay showed Brown's facial expression was twisted, gazing into the distance as he clattered to the canvas. The fight had been relatively competitive up until its conclusion.

With the win, Bonfim extends his winning streak to four. He entered the bout after consecutive victories over Ange Loosa, Khaos Williams and Stephen Thompson. In defeat, Brown has lost two of his most recent three fights. Saturday's meeting was the first promotional main event for each fighter.
