And it’s Gatto who took the decision, backstopping the London Knights to a 3-2 shootout victory, with 41 saves through regulation and overtime, and three more in the talent contest.

“That’s definitely up there,” Gatto said after the game when asked to rank that performance among his personal hockey highlights. “Especially when they beat us in our barn last time.”

George wasn’t his typical reflective and stoic self after the game Saturday evening.
