Surveillance video captured the moment a thief who posed as a customer at a Glendale clothing store escaped with thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.

The theft occurred at Qualité Los Angeles, a specialty shop offering high-end clothing brands and other accessories, located in Kenneth Village, a popular shopping and dining district.

On Nov. 7, surveillance cameras captured a young male suspect entering the shop and posing as an interested customer. He circled the small store and chatted with the store manager, Anthony Montes, asking questions about the items and shoe sizing.
