Families who have lost loved ones to meningitis will gather for a moving Christmas concert next month at Gloucester Cathedral, where personal dedications and heartfelt carols will take centre stage.
Organised by Stroud-based charity Meningitis Now, the annual celebration will take place on Wednesday, November 26. It offers a space for remembrance and reflection in the run-up to Christmas, particularly for those bereaved by the disease.
At the heart of the evening is the charity’s symbolic ‘Tree of Remembrance’, adorned with white ribbons. Each ribbon carries a handwritten message, representing love, memory and unity for those affected by meningitis.
The event will include performances from The Chalford Band, The I-Sing Choir and the Two
