New Zealand seamer Kyle Jamieson delivered a match-winning performance and claimed a crucial win by nine runs against West Indies. In the third T20I on Sunday, West Indies were chasing a total of 177 and they even came close to a win but their innings were wrapped up at 168 runs with Romario Shepherd caught in the deep off the penultimate ball for a career-best 49.
The wicket was the turning point and now New Zealand have 2-1 lead in the five-match T20I series. There was a time when the visitors were reeling at 88-8 but Shepherd and Shamar Springer stitched a stunning partnership and added 78 runs in just 6.3 overs.
