MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man was hospitalized after a shooting outside of a Madera supermarket Saturday evening, the Madera Police Department announced.

Police say they responded to the parking lot of Rancho San Miguel Supermarket for a reported shooting.

Responding officers arrived to find a man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital.

Investigators have not reported any arrests but say the incident was isolated, meaning there's no ongoing threat to the public.
