Michael Anthony Ottati, Jr. Schenectady - Michael Anthony Ottati, Jr., 83, of Schenectady, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025, peacefully, at home.

Michael was born on October 1, 1942, in Schenectady, NY, the son of Michael Anthony Ottati, Sr. and Mary Murphy Ottati. He was a 1960 graduate of Linton High School and 1964 graduate of Wagner College (Staten Island, NY), where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. He received his Master's Degree in Social Work from SUNY Albany in 1965. He began his career at the Children's Home Society of Schenectady for 10 years before joining the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (Division for Youth) for twenty-five years until his retirement in 2001.
