Barbara Kyser
Senior Master Sgt. Barbara Kyser, (USAF, Ret.) began a career of over 25 years active military service in 1982 stationed at USAFEHQ – Ramstein GE. She was assigned to the Logistics Squadron, supporting headquarters, several Tactical Fighter groups and the 60th MAC Wing.
Her service then took her to the 379th SAC in Michigan, and later to the coveted Search and Rescue Wing, the 129thRQW supporting an elite PJ (Pararescue)Team.
With the start of the Gulf Wars and on through Sept. 11, 2001, their operations’ tempo was “off the hook” as she led teams spending day and night on the ramp loading and unloading planes with men and their specialized equipment.
