A busy Midland car park's automatic number plate cameras and warning signs have been running for six years without proper planning permission, it has been revealed.
But it might not spell good news for drivers who received fines while parked near the KFC and Starbucks at Trench Lock, in Hadley, Telford as a leading lawyer warned it remained a 'complex' matter with "no automatic right to a refund."
The car park operators have now submitted a retrospective planning application seeking approval for the 14 signs mounted on lampposts and two ANPR cameras put up on October 9, 2019.
