OK, the break is over.
The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off the bye week and an extra day of rest to face the NFC North-leading Green Bay Packers.
In addition to the rest, the Eagles have added reinforcements. General manager Howie Roseman made three trades before the NFL trade deadline on Tuesday. The moves added edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and cornerbacks Jaire Alexander and Michael Carter.
Philadelphia, with its new trio of players, will face quarterback Jordan Love and the Packers, who had their season end last year by the Eagles in the NFC Wild Card playoff game, 22-10.
This time, however, the Packers will have home-field advantage. While that typically matters, you have to wonder with the Packers losing at Lambeau to the Carolina Panthers in Week 9.
