Illinois will be providing millions of dollars in grants through the Home Repair and Accessibility Program to help 400 homeowners statewide make essential home repairs and upgrades.
Helping Illinois Families Stay Safe at Home
According to a press release from the Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA), 34 local governments and non-profit organizations have been awarded $15 million to help residents repair and preserve their homes.

The Home Repair and Accessibility Program (HRAP) supports approximately 400 homeowners across 28 counties, including northern Illinois communities such as Loves Park and Machesney Park, which each received a $400,000 grant award.
