The vibrant spirit of devotion and culture has engulfed Moinamati in Bajali district as the five-day-long Raas festival commenced with a series of traditional and cultural programmes celebrating Assam’s rich heritage.
The festival grounds have turned into a hub of festivity, where the Raas Utsav Celebration Committee has lined up a range of events including Ojapali performances, Bhaona (traditional Assamese theatre), and solo dance competitions, drawing enthusiastic participation from the local community.
Adding to the grandeur, Local MLA and Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass graced the occasion and encouraged the people to preserve and promote the state’s age-old cultural traditions through such festivals.
