KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Kansas special legislative session for mid-decade redistricting is not happening. But that doesn’t mean the issues are off the table.
The House came up short on signatures after the Senate met its 2/3 threshold of signatures needed.
Both the senate president and house speaker say the redistricting and other issues that were going to be on the agenda will now move to the regular session in January. What are the prospects there?
House Speaker Dan Hawkins joins for the GOP view. Democratic Leader Rep. Brandon Woodard shares the view from his side of the aisle.
