Yasir Baig, a Pakistani man who was ordered to be deported to Pakistan 17 months ago after he caused a deadly five-vehicle crash in Ontario has been allowed to stay in Canada. The crash took place in 2018 and one person was killed and several were injured. Baig fled the scene but later surrendered to the police. When the Immigration Appeal Division rejected his appeal, he took his case to the Federal Court which ruled in favor of Baig, considering that his wife and children would have to face a lot of hardships if they are moved to Pakistan.
