BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Second-seeded Tottenville captured its second straight PSAL city bowling crown and the third-seeded McKee/Staten Island Tech girls won their first PSAL city crown in recent memory Saturday at FunFest Mill Basin Lanes.
Both teams swept their respective matches, 2-0, eliminating any drama or last-frame heroics.
The Pirates dumped No. 4 Scholars Academy as Jonathan Mendez led the Pirates’ A win with a 224 and was followed by Dylan Joseph Delapaz (211), Thomas Africano (180) and Ryan Milone (179). The foursome combined to knock over 794 pins.
