It's not a total washout Sunday, but outdoor activities will need to be ready for periods of showers. Some rain will linger in areas into Monday morning as a secondary storm strengthens offshore. We all see temperatures plummet as our first true winter-like week sees temperatures struggle to rise out of the mid 30s Tuesday.
Showers continue to push northward this morning, and I remain optimistic for a bit of a lull for most of the region into the early afternoon. Winter Weather Advisories posted for the North Country, with the concern being the possibility of a glaze of ice, will expire by noon with rising temperatures.
