ARKADELPHIA -- Henderson State can now safely turn its attention to its Highway 7 rivals.

The Reddies turned in perhaps their most businesslike offensive performance of the season as they outlasted East Central (Okla.) 45-35 on a sunny Saturday afternoon at Carpenter-Haygood Stadium.

Andrew Edwards had a hand in four touchdowns for Henderson State (7-3, 7-3 Great American Conference) as it used a 21-point surge over the second and third quarters to create a gap that the Tigers weren't able to completely close. But the Reddies couldn't have picked a more opportune time to put its best foot forward.
