West Lothian pupils are being encouraged to take up sport in an innovative new partnership.
Children in Fauldhouse schools have received brand new football kits, in the hopes that they will be more likely to partake in both sports and teamwork.
Fauldhouse Community Youth Target and Fauldhouse United Football Club teamed up to provide the new football kits for Falla Hill and St John the Baptist primary schools, reports The Daily Record.
The new gear, which was kindly sponsored and funded by Dave Huddlestone from Fauldhouse Community Youth Target and former Secretary of Fauldhouse United, is intended to remove some of the barriers that may prevent children from participating.
West Lothian ’s Provost Cathy Muldoon was invited along to help present the new strips to the excited pupil
