EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The Browns have an opportunity to build some momentum coming out of the bye week. It starts with winning a road game, something they haven't done since Week 2 of the 2024 season.
More importantly, it requires Cleveland taking advantage of an opponent who is having a worse start to the season than the Browns' own 2-6 record. The New York Jets lost their first seven games before rallying to beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8 ahead of their own bye week in Week 9.
If the Browns could win against the Jets, it could turn into the start of something, with three games out of the first five coming out of the bye against teams that currently have two wins or less. It has to start with the first one, though. Buy Cleveland Browns tickets
