ATLANTA, Ga. - Funeral arrangements have been announced for the woman who was shot to death at a Duluth shopping center and whose killer was chased down in Columbia County before he killed himself.
Elajia Johnae Whitley’s funeral will be held on Friday, Nov. 21, at 1 p.m. at the Gregory B. Levett and Sons Funeral Home in Conyers. A public viewing is also scheduled at the funeral home on Thursday, Nov. 20, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Whitley had just left work at a blood donation center when she was killed, according to authorities.
She was shot to death Oct. 31 by her ex-boyfriend Caprice Hudson, 23, who was spotted hours later driving on Interstate 20 in Columbia County.
